Located in Jerrabomberra, we offer a mobile speech therapy service in the Canberra and surrounding regions and can provide quality and uncompromised therapy in the comfort of your own home via Telehealth.

With paediatric clients, the focus is on empowering parents and carers to be pivotal agents of change in their child speech pathology journey by integrating therapy in natural and play-based settings.

With adults, Think. Do. Speak. is ideally equipped to develop goals with you and your family to allow you to participate in the activities that are important to you. With our evidence-based techniques and individualised treatment plans, we aim to empower you to THINK, DO and SPEAK with confidence.

Can I claim your services through Medicare or Private Health Insurance?

We are registered with both Private Health and Medicare. For Medicare rebates, a Chronic Disease Management Plan from your GP is needed for your sessions. It’s advised you call your Private Health Insurance company prior to starting sessions to check that you’re covered for sessions.

What area do you cover with your mobile service?
We are located in Jerrabomberra and provide a mobile service throughout Canberra as well as more regional areas including Yass, Goulburn, Murrumbateman and Crookwell. However, through Telehealth, our online groups and therapy programs can be accessed from your home or school, no matter where you live!
Are you a neurodiverse affirming practice?

Our small practice is passionate about learning from neurodivergent voices in the community. We do this in a range of ways; from engaging with neurodivergent social media pages and groups, undertaking professional development created and led by neurodivergent people and keeping up with the latest research into best practice.

This has resulted in a core value that we accept that ALL brains and people are unique, and this results in moving away from a medical deficits-based model to a strength based, functional model of service. This means we take the time to understand our clients, nurture their strengths as well as empower them to gain skills that will make a difference in their everyday lives.

How long will therapy take?

Every individual is unique, making it challenging to determine the therapy duration. Therapy for both adults and children can range from weeks to months, depending on the nature and severity of the difficulties. People with complex needs may require long-term support. We regularly review therapy programs and progress, collaborating to develop ongoing intervention plans that best suit the individual’s needs.

How much does a session cost?

Fees for services are based on the initial assessment, session duration, and location. Kindly reach out to us for the updated fee schedule. You may qualify for Medicare rebates or funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme or My Aged Care.

What Our Families Are Saying

“We’ve seen so much progress since starting the social groups. My child is now able to tell us how they are feeling, and they always ask us if today is a “Minecraft day”.”

“Being able to have Erin come to the house allows her to really see the challenges we have at home and what is important for us as a family. With multiple neurodiverse children at home, going to clinics is just a nightmare”.

“We were a bit hesitant to start Telehealth because we thought our child wouldn’t get the same outcomes as in person, but it’s been incredible to see how engaged they are and how far they’ve come.”
